A County Durham music festival which last year drew hundreds of visitors who danced the day away is back for 2024 - here's all the details.
AycLive in Newton Aycliffe is back and bigger than ever for another year at OakLeaf Sports Field this Saturday (July 27) offering music lovers another day jam-packed with over 10 hours of live music from local artists.
Headlining this year is the band Real Thing - with original vocalists Chris Amoo and Dave Smith.
The Real Thing enjoyed success in both the 1970’s & 1980’s with three No. 1 hits ‘You To Me Are Everything’, ‘Can’t Get By Without You’ and ‘Can You Feel The Force’.
The lineup also includes female party band Jukebox Vandals, Motown tribute The Angelettes and The Turtle Z's - a rock band specialising in classic 70s rock.
For those who love a bit of 80s tunes, the seven-piece band Now That's What I Call 80s will be taking to the stage.
Classic tracks like ‘Radio Gaga’ by Queen, ‘Don’t You Forget About Me’ by Simple Minds and 'Relax' by Frankie Goes to Hollywood are all expected to be on the setlist.
This year, online ticket prices are £20.00 for Over 18s, £15.00 for 14-17-year-olds olds and £1.00 for 5-13-year-olds and under 5's are free.

Pictures from 2023's AycLive showed smiling families who hauled deck chairs, blankets and snacks across the field to be as comfortable as possible for the show.
Susanne and Jacqui from Newton Aycliffe were just two attendees at the festival and told The Northern Echo how positive it was to see the community out in force.
Susanne said: "It has been fantastic so far, and great to see everyone out to celebrate the day as we are locals too.
"We are just thinking about the weather and hoping it doesn't rain!"
