A wedding and events venue has opened for booking and open days after news of a £10m renovation project on the building.
Grand Villa Heights, which has taken over Raven Hall Hotel in Ravenscar, North Yorkshire, has unveiled its fresh new look and name online after a major takeover by wedding company The Apartment Group.
Despite the hotel being in the same family for 20 years, the venue has been changing for the last few months - with new images emerging of the interior and several aspects of the outside areas at the hotel.
As part of the changes, the new owners faced a slight backlash from people who had previously stayed at the Raven Hall Hotel over fears that the wedding venue renovations would "dilute" the impact of the building and wouldn't be sympathetic to the local community.
However, setting out its plans, The Apartment Group say they want to make Grand Villa Heights "one of the most spectacularly unique hotels in Europe."
The Apartment Group, who already run wedding businesses Runa Farm and Lartington Hall in County Durham, Newton Hall and Le Petit Chateau in Northumberland, and The Croft near Darlington, has now set out its vision for the future.
And have said online that they are now offering open days and private tours of the venue to prospective couples who want to get married at Grand Villa Heights.

The Apartment Group previously said: "We’ve already met with the North York Moors National Park, as well as engaged the services of a local heritage consultant to ensure that all improvements are of the highest quality and sensitivity.
"The local community is tremendously important to us, and we want to be an integral part of it.
"Apartment Group has always embraced the needs of the local community and championed local causes. Plenty of community groups use our venues free of charge and we always contribute to local charities and good causes."
