A woman in her 70s has been taken to hospital after falling from her bike in an incident that saw a high street blocked off on Wednesday (July 17).
Emergency services were called to High Street in Northallerton, outside the Cutting It hairdressers, at about 11.45am, following reports of a medical incident.
During the incident, the road was sealed off, with AA road maps reporting that other vehicles were diverted around Northallerton.
In images of the incident, two police vans and a fire engine can be seen in Northallerton, while people stand next to All Saints Parish Church in Northallerton.

Following the incident, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service have now confirmed details of the incident - revealing that a woman in her 70s has been taken to hospital after falling from her bike.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "The incident involved our Northallerton crew who were out and about. They came across a female in her 70s who had fallen from her bicycle and suffered a suspected broken arm.
"Our crew were able to provide first aid until the arrival of the ambulance where she was transported to the hospital for further treatment."
