A County Durham man took a loaded air pistol with him into a Durham city club.
Vincent Chatt, 24, took the loaded air gun with him into Fabio’s Nightclub in the centre of Durham on March 31.
Appearing before Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court on Monday (July 15) he pleaded guilty to breaking the law on possessing an air weapon in a public place.
Chatt, of Chaplain Street, Seaham, was ordered to pay a total of £365 in fines, costs and a surcharge which will be collected from his benefits.
The air pistol is to be destroyed, magistrates ordered.
