A Darlington pub has reopened after an 'extensive' refurbishment which saw it close its doors for three weeks.
The White Horse now boasts a 'brighter, modern look' according to management, and has also created five new jobs for locals.
The refurbishment process has resulted in a range of changes in the popular watering hole.
The pub’s General Manager, Catherine Blakey said: "We’re thrilled to reveal the White Horse’s new look to our guests.
"Whether you’re looking for a family meal out or somewhere to enjoy the sport with a pint, our pub is ready to welcome guests, both new and old, to enjoy our brand-new look — but with the same sizzle we’ve always had."
These upgrades include a refreshed bar, new soft furnishings, and an improved dining area.
The enhancements aim to provide customers with a relaxed and friendly environment for their visits.
Adding to the revamp, the pub has introduced an all-new food menu.

Diners at the pub can enjoy new menu items such as the 'Laying it on Chick' Burger, Tandoori Chicken sizzling skillet, and giant gyros.
There is also a dessert sharer that includes three of the menu’s favourite desserts.
Live music will be shown on the last Saturday of every month from 8pm and the pub will be showing live sport.
