It is set to be a dry Monday (but not for long) today as the Met Office predicts light drizzle and cloud set to stick around late into the evening.

Following a massively wet summer weekend, the rain appears to finally be at bay across the county today (July 15) as temperatures are set to reach highs of 21C.

There is a slight chance of drizzle and some rain according to the forecaster as a cloudy start is said to begin "brightening up" as the day carries on.

However after one dry day the Met Office has warned that potentially heavy showers with a risk of thunder are set to break out from Tuesday onwards.
