The Miners Gala returns to Durham on Saturday for its 138th instalment, with thousands expected to journey to the city to take part in the 'Big Meeting'.
The weather forecast according to the Met Office is looking like it could be a bit of a wet one, so it may be advisable to bring your coat if you are looking to attend the event.
Here is the breakdown of the forecast for the three main parts of the day:
8:30am
The beginning of the banners marching through the city to the Racecourse: Light rain with temperatures around 10°C, north-northwest wind at 9-15 mph.
1:00pm
The start of the 'Big Meeting', where speakers will be addressing the crowds: Light rain with temperatures around 12°C, north-northwest wind at 11-18 mph.
2:30pm
The start of the procession of banners to the Cathedral for the service: Light rain with temperatures around 12°C, north-northwest wind at 11-18 mph.

The speakers for the Gala were confirmed earlier, with a host of union officials set to address the crowds.
The theme of ‘Solidarity Forever’ will run through the Gala, with the DMA highlighting the solidarity that sustained the strike and has kept the Gala going in the decades that followed.
