Huge crowds of people are expected in Durham City as part of the Durham City Run Festival - and to ensure the safety of competitors and spectators, a network of roads will be closed across the city.
On July 18, 19, and 20 this summer, the ever-popular event - which sees everyone from pro athletes to new runners take the starting line - is expected to be another smash hit.
With distances of 5k and 10k, races will start on Framwellgate Waterside, near the Radisson Blu, and finish on historic Palace Green, outside of the cathedral.
There will be a rolling road closure programme, put together by race organises and Durham County Council, to minimise disruption to residents and businesses.
People are advised that bus routes will be affected and diversions will be in place.
As a consequence of the below roads being closed, all junctions with any of the aforementioned roads will also be closed for the safety of the runners.
These times are approximate and may be subject to change on the day.

"Please contact us if you have any specific issues which cannot be addressed on the day. We would appreciate your co-operation and understanding during the race."
