The heartbreaking final video posted to TikTok by Darlington girl Scarlett Vickers hours before she was allegedly murdered by her own parents has emerged.

Scarlett Vickers, 14, was posing in front of her bedroom mirror lip-syncing to a Lana Del Ray song hours before her death on Friday (July 5) when she was allegedly stabbed to death.

In the video, Scarlett can be seen posing for the camera in a black outfit which was captioned: "Ignore the mess pls".

Days before the tragedy on June 29, she shared a series of selfies in a 'photo dump'.

Tributes have been left on the TikTok from her friends with one saying: "Ma best friend missing ma poor baby."

The schoolgirl, of Geneva Road in Darlington, was pronounced dead after 11pm despite the best efforts of emergency services.

The family's home remains under a police cordon as dozens of floral tributes, messages and even a teddy bear lie on the pavement outside.

Her parents, Simon Vickers, 48, and Sarah Hall, 44, of Geneva Road were charged with her murder after the incident.

Sarah Hall made her latest appearance at Teesside Crown Court today (July 10) where she was released on bail.

44-year-old Hall was granted bail by High Court judge His Honour Mr Justice Jacobs this afternoon under strict conditions.

The barrister for the teenager’s father, Simon Vickers, did not make an application for bail on behalf of his client and did not appear at today's hearing.

Following her tragic passing, tributes flooded in from across the community as well as from her school, Haughton Academy, who have described the year nine pupil as a "lovely girl".

In a tribute on the school site, she wrote: "You may have seen in the media and on social media that Scarlett Vickers (Year 9) sadly died at home on Friday.

"Scarlett was a lovely girl and an important member of the Haughton Academy community. She was always immaculately turned out, respectful and polite. A very friendly girl, with a great sense of humour, she was popular with her friends and will be greatly missed by everyone at school.

"This is a very difficult time for us all but we know we can get through it by coming together as a strong community and by remembering Scarlett in our own ways."

Heartbreaking tributes were written and left to Scarlett outside her home from devastated classmates - one note on a bunch of flowers read "sleep tight".

Another tribute says the schoolgirl was "taken too soon" - adding that "no one will ever forget" her.
