Their lunchtime visit was their first to Soami's but the restaurant's owner, Rohini Sharma hopes it won't be their last.
"Anne praised our peshwari naan and Ken asked for Chicken tikka masala but I recommend him our origins of India curry murgh makhani masala and he said loved it," Mrs Sharma said.
"It was great serving them and they were really down to earth and very nice and polite with me.
"When I asked to take picture with them, they straightaway said yes".
"It was an incredible honour to have them dine with us," the restaurant posted on Facebook, expressing "heartfelt gratitude for gracing us with their presence".
This is not the first celebrity diner that the restaurant has welcomed, with Si King, one half of the TV duo The Hairy Bikers, dining there in 2023.
