Each year, thousands of people use Teesside Airport to go on holiday - with a large number of flights leaving the venue.
Like many other airports across the UK, passengers at Teesside Airport are asked to arrive with time to spare before their flight to help make the journey run smoothly for them and their fellow passengers.
If you’re travelling via Teesside Airport this year, here's how much time you need to leave before your flight.
When should you arrive at Teesside Airport before a flight?
On their Passenger Information page on their website, Teesside Airport explained how early passengers should arrive before departures.
They recommend arriving at the terminal "no later than 2 hours before however, please ensure you’re familiar with your airline's check-in opening times as stated on your documentation."
Check-in desks at the airport open two to three hours before the flight is scheduled to depart.
In terms of other instructions around check-in, Teesside Airport states: "Please check the documentation from your airline, which will advise you when check-in opens. Depending on the airline, the airport’s check-in desks will open between two and three hours before flight departure and close approximately 30-40 minutes before departure. Please ensure you leave plenty of time to check in as latecomers may not be admitted.
