Roadworks on Grange Road in Darlington will be causing delays for motorists until the end of the week.
Work is currently ongoing to repair the wall running along the side of the road after months of waiting to fix it with piles of bricks
There are three-way traffic lights set up at the junction near South Park which have been causing a lot of congestion.

On the Darlington Borough Council website they state that the work will be finished on July 10 if it goes according to plan.

They state that the work is to "Rebuild wall" in the area.
The roundabout was originally closed in January this year after a tree fell and blocked the road.
It caused extensive damage to one part of the brick wall and other areas also need work due to wear and tear.
