The Met Office is predicting sunshine and showers - some heavy and perhaps thunder - in Darlington. 

The regional outlook to day is fine at first for many, however showers will spread from western parts to become more widespread through the day, turning locally heavy and thundery.

It will get rather cool, but feeling pleasant in sunny spells, and helped by lighter winds than on Saturday. Maximum temperature 19 °C.
