A police officer suffered a broken wrist while arresting a suspected class A drug dealer.
A man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today (Friday July 5) after a reported incident in Middlesbrough where an officer was injured.

He reportedly attempted to make off from police on an off-road bike around 3pm on Wednesday july on Park Vale Road.
The officer received treatment at James Cook University Hospital and is now recovering.
A 35-year-old man has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and no licence or insurance.
