One person has been taken to hospital following a crash on a North East road this afternoon.
North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) confirmed they were called to a collision on Berwick Hill Road in Newcastle at 12:41pm today (June 29).
They confirmed they dispatched one ambulance crew to the scene.
They added one person was taken to hospital following the incident.

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to a road traffic collision today (29 June) at 12:41 on Berwick Hill Road in Newcastle.
“We dispatched one ambulance crew and one patient was taken to RVI hospital."
The Northern Echo have contacted Northumbria Police for more information on the incident.
