Readers have paid tribute to Sheldon Kelly a much-loved dad-of-two, who passed away aged 29 earlier this month.

The news left loved ones and the community reeling in heartfelt tributes, including one from Sheldon's previous primary school teacher, Mel Annie.

She said: "Such sad news.

"I taught him in primary school and he was a lovely lad.

"Bumped into him as a young man shortly after his little girl was born and was proud as punch. Thoughts go out to his family and friends."

Hannah’s Blue Butterflies Road Safety Awareness said: "Big hugs to the family.

"This is devastating".

Dave Kemp also voiced sentiments reflecting the respect held for Sheldon and said: "One in a million."

Public condolences include heartfelt messages like "So sad, condolences to his family" from Kerry Alison Mitchell and "So sad sleep tight Sheldon thinking of all your family" from Leanne Mitchell.

Sheldon, described as the 'best dad' and 'always smiling', is survived by his wife, Lisa Marie, and their young children, Sheldon Jr and Lorena.

Mrs Kelly said: "Anything he did, he did for his family."
