Police are searching for a taxi driver who hit an elderly man at a hospital car park leaving him with extensive bruising.
The driver and 85-year-old reportedly collided at the V3 car park at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, near the A&E, on Wednesday (June 19).
While the taxi driver got out to help the man to his feet, police say he left without leaving any details.
The octogenarian was left with extensive bruising to his hip and left arm and bad grazes.
Cleveland Police are asking the taxi driver to contact them on 101.
Officers are also seeking any witnesses to come forward to assist them. If you have any information you can contact the Teesside force on 101, quoting incident number SE24117710.
