A woman was left in hospital in the early hours of Sunday after an alleged assault.
Police were called to Rudyard Avenue in the Roseworth area of Stockton at about 4.15am on Sunday June 23.
The woman, aged 20, suffered head injuries and was rushed to University Hospital of North Tees by paramedics. She has since been discharged.
A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary with intent and he remains in police custody at this time.
