Police are appealing for the public’s assistance to help find a missing teenage boy from North Tyneside.
Dylan Basra, who is said to be from the Longbenton area, was reported missing from home at around lunchtime on Monday (June 17).
He was seen, however, two days later on Wednesday (June 19) in the East End area of Newcastle.
But the 15-year-old has not returned home, and police and Dylan’s family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare. He is said to have links across the entire Northumbria force area, as well as to Leicestershire.
Inquiries have been ongoing, and Northumbria officers are now asking the public for information regarding the teenager’s whereabouts.
Dylan is described as 5ft 8 in, of slim build, with short black hair which is shaven at the back.

On both occasions when Dylan was seen in recent days he was wearing black Nike trainers.
