A ‘pupil’ has reportedly been taken to hospital following an incident at Hurworth School this afternoon (June 21).
North East Ambulance Service has confirmed they were called to Hurworth School, in Croft Road, at 12:50pm.
They also confirmed they deployed one ambulance crew to the scene and took one person to hospital for further treatment.

A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to an incident at Hurworth School, in Croft Road, at 12.50pm this afternoon (21 June).
"We dispatched one ambulance crew, and transported one patient to hospital for further treatment."
