Reform UK is set to overtake the Conservatives as the main opposition party in the North East, according to a recent YouGov poll.
The data shows that Reform as the second place party in 18 of the region's constituencies.
The Tories meanwhile, are set to see a decimation of their support in the region, only finishing second in nine areas.
Labour is projected to win every seat in the region.
This data indicates a shift in political alignment within the North East following significant Conservative wins in County Durham at the last general election.

In key areas such as Newton Aycliffe and Spennymoor, Blaydon and Consett, and Hartlepool, Reform UK is positioned to gain 21-27 per cent of the votes, with its highest predicted result in the region coming in Hartlepool.
Rishi Sunak's party are only expected to secure between 11-23 per cent across the nine constituencies they are second in, such as Bishop Auckland, Darlington and Redcar.
A staggering poll from Savanta on Wednesday even suggested that Rishi Sunak was in danger of losing his North Yorkshire seat of Richmond and Northallerton.
No sitting Prime Minister has ever lost their seat at a general election.
