A brand new Starbucks drive-thru opened its doors for the first time in Darlington today - here's a first glimpse inside.
The latest long-anticipated spot to grab a coffee on your way in and out of town is finally open for business.
Starbucks in Faverdale opened bright and early at 6am this morning (June 20) after years of waiting to thirsty customers waiting for their caffeine hit.
Plans were first approved for the coffee spot in 2020 as part of a new development which included a Lidl and Home Bargains which are now open.
Pictures have for the past few months shown the building, which includes a drive-thru, with signs saying it was to open "soon".
This latest outpost of the American coffee giant will be the first in Darlington since Starbucks on Northgate closed its doors for good in September 2017.
The town centre location was open for ten years, and 15 jobs were lost after bosses made the "difficult decision" to close.
Here are some pictures of the inside of the store - have you been along to try it yet?
