A carnival monster trucks crushing cars, families enjoying fairground attractions, and death-defying BMX stunts came to the region this weekend.
The North Yorkshire Carnival got underway at Catterick Racecourse on Saturday (June 15) and Sunday (June 16).
The event, which ran from 11am until 6pm both days, saw families revel in the activities on offer.
On the day of the carnival, organisers invited eventgoers to “come along and join the fun.”

The event included monster truck shows, including taking a ride in a monster truck taxi, motorbike stunt shows, BMX stunt shows and children's entertainment.
Children could be seen laughing and enjoying bumper car rides alongside their family.
Speaking before the event, a spokesperson for North Yorkshire Carnival said: "Tickets have been flying out since we first launched them for sale online so make sure to get yours before it is too late, as we will likely sell out ahead of the day and we have a limited capacity for safety reasons.”
