Darlington town centre will host a fun event for the whole family this weekend.
Darlington Building Society will be holding its Darly Trail event on Saturday (June 15) from 11am to 3pm.
The event will see a free crafts activity hosted by Yvonne Preston at Cornmill Shopping Centre.
There will be a book reading by author and former Northern Echo editor, Peter Barron, at 11am in Queen Street Shopping Centre.
An organiser said: “Join us for this free event!
“Fun for all of the family, explore Darlington town centre and find all the clues on the Darly Trail for the chance to win a prize.
“Along the way have a go at some free crafts and activities 11am - 3pm.”
A making and printing activity will also be held in the Market Hall and run by Miss Print – while there will also be a selfie station and colouring activities at the Darlington Building Society on High Row.

A ‘Meet the Sloths’ event will also be running throughout the day.
