A teenager has been arrested after an "altercation" on a Middlesbrough street.
Police taped off Ambleside Road, in the Normanby area of the town, on Tuesday afternoon after an "altercation" between the drivers of a silver Mercedes and a silver Corsa.
Pictures circulating online show how police blocked off the road and cordoned off the two vehicles, with several officers seen standing beside the blue and white tape.
Cleveland Police has confirmed that a 75-year-old man was left with a cut to his head, and a 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of assault.
He was taken into police custody for questioning.
The force said: "Police are appealing for information after an incident between two vehicles on Ambleside Road in Normanby at 5.30pm last night, Tuesday 11th June.

"An altercation took place between the drivers of a silver Mercedes and a silver Corsa, and a 75-year-old man was left with a cut to his head.
"A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault and taken to police custody for questioning.
"Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault, or who has dashcam, ring doorbell or CCTV footage, to call 101 quoting reference number SE24109387."
