Vouchers to help with energy and food costs are on the way for low-income people around the North East this summer.

The £80 vouchers, funded by the Government’s Household Support Fund, will be sent by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council to all households eligible for Council Tax Reduction.

More than 11,000 working-age households entitled to Council Tax Reduction are set to receive a voucher by the end of June.
