A North East Thai restaurant has reopened its doors after closing due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’ earlier this month.
Orangegrass Thai, located on Mount Terrace in South Shields, has confirmed they reopened their doors on Saturday (June 8).
This comes after the restaurant said they had to close “due to unforeseen circumstances” on May 30.
The restaurant has now confirmed they closed due to the restaurant moving downstairs to allow for disabled access.
A spokesperson for the business said: “We closed due to moving the restaurant downstairs in the same building as we were unable to have disabled access upstairs.
“We listened to feedback over the years to accommodate every guest.”
In a social media post speaking on the closure earlier in the month, a spokesperson for the eatery said: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to temporarily close Orangegrass Thai.
