A person has been taken to hospital after a crash in County Durham that saw the air ambulance and other emergency services attend.
The incident happened in Castle Field, County Durham, at about 5.25pm on Saturday (June 8) - with emergency services receiving reports of a collision on the stretch of road towards Esh Winning.
The road was closed off for around an hour to allow emergency services to attend the scene and the air ambulance to land nearby.

One person was taken to hospital via road ambulance, but they were accompanied by teams from the air ambulance.
A spokesperson for the Great North Air Ambulance said: "On Saturday our critical care team was activated at 5.23pm to reports of a road traffic collision in Castle Field, County Durham.
"Our team arrived on the scene at 5.51pm and worked alongside the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) to assess and treat a patient. The patient was taken to hospital by a NEAS road crew, accompanied by our team."
