Armed police were called to a street in Hartlepool after a 'disturbance' involving a weapon that saw two people arrested for the incident.
Officers from Cleveland Police's specialist team were called to Wynyard Road in Hartlepool at about 10.30am on Sunday (June 9) following reports of a disturbance believed to involve a weapon.
After arriving on the scene, armed officers located a 16-year-old boy with minor injuries to his hands.
After a short search, a 45-year-old man was also located. He sustained facial injuries.
Police confirmed that both were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and taken to police custody for questioning.

A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "Due to the nature of the report, armed response officers attended.
"This is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the wider public.
"Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information is asked to call 101, quoting reference SE24107853."
