A man has appeared in court charged with four sexual assaults of separate females on residential streets in a North East town.
Paul Sild of Moorhen Road, Hartlepool, was arrested after reports from four women about incidents in the streets of Hartlepool in daylight on Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31.
The 34-year-old appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court on Monday (June 3).
He was not asked to plead to the charges and was remanded in custody until a further hearing on July 2024 at Teesside Crown Court.

Officers investigating the case are appealing for anyone who believes they may have been a victim of this series of offences in Hartlepool, to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting incident reference number SE24100860.
