A chain store has confirmed its opening date at Cleveland Retail Park - and its sooner than you think.

JD Sports will open its doors in Middlesbrough this weekend, taking over from Argos, which closed down two years ago.

JD Sports has been hotly anticipated since it was announced as a new retail park centre last September.

Customers will be able to stock up on athleticwear, shoes, and sports equipment from this Saturday (Saturday, June 8).

JD branding has been put up on the storefront, after preparations to convert the 9,000sqft store from Argos.
