The final round of chefs who are set to appear at a County Durham food festival later this summer have been revealed - here's all the details.
Seaham Food Festival is back once again for 2024 and a whole host of celebrity guests are set to appear at the two-day festival on August 5 and 6.
Everything from delicious sweet treats to burgers, fries and mac and cheese will be on offer across sprawling stalls at the heart of the town centre.
Now, the council has confirmed that world-renowned chocolatier Paul Young, Great British Bake Off finalist Josh Smalley and MTV Dirty Sanchez frontman Matt Pritchard are set to delight foodies with live demos and tastings.
Paul, who was born and trained locally in Trimdon Station opened his first chocolatery in 2006 and since then has gone on to publish four books including Adventures with Chocolate, Sensational Chocolate, How to Make Chocolates and The Joy of Chocolate.
Joining Paul on Sunday will be recent Bake-Off season 14 finalist Josh Smalley from Leicester, who interestingly enough also has a doctorate in chemistry.
Finally, former MTV frontman Matt, from Wales, will close off the festival.
He's had a busy few months after releasing his book 'Dirty Vegan, Fast and Easy' and his new training supplement ‘Sleep When You Are Dead’.
With just a few months to go until the event, the council has expressed their excitement
Cllr Elizabeth Scott, Durham County Council’s Cabinet member for economy and partnerships, said: "We are pleased to announce the remaining celebrity chefs for Seaham Food Festival.
"As you can see, we have an excellent lineup this year with diverse demonstrations that are not to be missed.

"Seaham Food Festival is not just about celebrating the fantastic produce made here in County Durham and the wider North East, but about showcasing the cookery talents to come out of the region, such as Paul and Mike.
"We are really looking forward to welcoming both back to Seaham, as with all our fantastic chefs in this year’s lineup."
This latest news comes after organisers recently confirmed that TV chefs Rosemary Shrager, Phil Vickery and Bishop Auckland’s Mike Bartley will appear at the cookery theatre on Saturday.
