Darlington Police are hoping to find three men who intervened during the assault of a child in Darlington.
The incident happened outside of Wilkos on East Street at 3.45pm on June 2.
A man reportedly assaulted a 14-year-old child.
The police would like to speak to three individuals believed to have intervened who may be able to help their investigation.
A Darlington Police spokesperson said: "The incident is believed to have taken place at around 3.45pm yesterday (Sunday, June 2).

"A man is alleged to have assaulted a 14-year-old child.
"Anybody with any information relating to the incident is asked to contact Durham Police on 101, quoting incident number 286 of June 2.
"Officers would also like to speak to three individuals believed to have intervened, who may be able to assist police in their enquiries."
