Disruption has been cleared after an 'incident' on the East Coast Mainline this afternoon (June 2) between Newcastle and Berwick Upon Tweed.
They initially warned that disruption is possible for trains passing through the area, but have since confirmed that all lines have now reopened.
On Twitter, its updated post read: "#LNERUpdate Following the emergency services dealing with an incident between #Newcastle and #BerwickUponTweed all lines have now reopened. Delays will still follow whilst services get back on the move."The British Transport Police has been contacted for more information.
