Hundreds of families stepped out to soak up the sunshine and marvel at motors this weekend for an annual truck festival in County Durham - take a look at our pictures.
The sun was shining and engines were roaring this weekend at Wolsingham Showground for TruckFest North East which took place on June 1-2.
Dozens of trucks of all shapes and sizes were parked up on the sprawling ground and viewable both inside and outside for those who wanted a closer look.
Fairground rides, monster truck rides, a stunt show and the monster truck show, of course, were all sights to be seen across the two-day spectacular which drew hundreds with happy smiling faces.
One of the founders and directors of TruckFest, Bob Limming, spoke highly of the weekend and how positively it has been received in the North East.
He said: “We love this site, and this is the baby TruckFest if you like. But, everybody up here has been fantastic. The Wolsingham people have just taken it into their hearts.
“We look forward to coming especially with this type of weather. TruckFest has now been going on for 42 years and it just grows and grows.
“It is great to bring it up to the region - we were looking for a venue in the North East that could accommodate us for quite a long time.”
Also appearing at the festival on Sunday was BBC Gladiators star Sheli McCoy (Sabre), who signed autographs for fans before warming up the crowd ahead of the monster truck show.
Speaking to the Echo, she said: “It is great to be here in Wolsingham. I have actually been to TruckFest in Lincoln before, but I know it is newly established here so it is nice to be part of it.
“Last time I got to sit inside one of the new Scania trucks - I do actually love trucks. This is my vibe.I think it it such a good opportunity to go somewhere and meet people who are interested in the Gladiators show too.”
Sheli, who grew up in Scotland, spoke of her childhood around trucks and her love for agricultural shows - this being one of her final few appearances before she begins filming in Sheffield for Gladiators season 2.
