New pictures show the latest progress made on a new Starbucks store set to open in Darlington in the ‘near future.’
Plans for the new drive-thru store, located in Faverdale just off the A68, were approved in 2020 as part of a scheme to bring the chain, as well as a Lidl and Home Bargains to the area.
The latter two stores have since opened, while the Starbucks development looks to be nearing completion.
A Starbucks spokesperson said: “We look forward to bringing the Starbucks Experience to customers in Faverdale, Darlington in the near future and will be in touch once we have more specific plans to share.”

This will be the first Starbucks branch in Darlington since its Northgate location closed its doors in September 2017.
The location was open for ten years, and 15 jobs were lost after bosses made the "difficult decision" to close.
The next closest Starbucks to Darlington is a drive-thru at Bishop Auckland's retail park.
