Drivers around North Yorkshire have a few roads they should avoid this weekend because of closures and work.
Thankfully, none of the delays this weekend will be too long but they might add 10 minutes to your drives.
If you want to avoid the traffic have a look at the road works listed below.
Here are the road closures to watch out for this weekend:
• A64, from 8pm May 20 to 6am June 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A64 eastbound and westbound, West Heslerton to Sherburn, traffic signals for survey works.
• A64, from 9am May 20 to 3.30pm June 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A64 eastbound and westbound, Hopgrove to Musham bank, Stop and go for general cleaning and maintenance.
• A64, from 8pm May 31 to 6am June 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A64 westbound, Brambling Fields to Pickering, slip road and lane closure for general cleaning and maintenance, diversion via local authority and national highways networks.
• A64, from 8pm May 31 to 6am June 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A64 eastbound, Whitwell to Barton Hill, Lane closure for general cleaning and maintenance.
• A66, from 6am May 28 to 6am June 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A66 West Appleby Horse Fair Embargo 2024 Area 14.
Here are further closures that will be in place over the next two weeks:
• A1(M), from 8pm June 3 to 6am June 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A66M eastbound and westbound, Blackwell Roundabout to A1M, junction 57, A1M southbound, junction 57, carriageway closure, lane closure for resurfacing Area Scheme.
• A1(M), from 8pm June 3 to 6am June 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A1(M) northbound and southbound, junction 57 to junction 58, Lane closure for maintenance works.
• A64, from 8pm June 3 to 6am June 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A64 westbound, Pickering to Musley Bank, carriageway and lane closures for general cleaning and maintenance, diversion via local authority and national highways networks.
• A64, from 8pm June 3 to 6am June 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A64 eastbound, Barton Hill to Crambeck, Lane closure for general cleaning and maintenance.
• A64, from 8pm June 4 to 6am June 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A64 westbound, Barton to Crambeck, Lane closures for general cleaning and maintenance.
• A64, from 8pm June 4 to 6am June 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A64 eastbound, Musley bank to Pickering, slip road closures and Lane closures for general cleaning and maintenance, diversion in place via National highways and local authority networks.
• A64, from 8pm June 5 to 6am June 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A64 westbound, Barton Hill to Whitwell, Lane closure for general cleaning and maintenance.
• A64, from 8pm June 5 to 6am June 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A64 eastbound and westbound, Pickering to Brambling fields, slip road closures and Lane closures for general cleaning and maintenance, diversion in place via National highways and local authority networks.
