A beach in the North East has had a sewage warning issued after the recent stormy weather caused storm overflows to discharge waste into waterways.
A map, created by Surfers Against Sewage, shows which beaches across the country should be avoided because of sewage.
The group monitor water quality at over 400 river and coastal locations to see if people can swim in them without being sick.

"Storm sewage has been discharged from a sewer overflow in this location within the past 48 hours.
"Tynemouth Cullercoats is a resort beach enclosed by piers at each end making a very sheltered bay.
"Although there are no sewer overflows discharging directly at Tynemouth Cullercoats, a large number discharge into the River Tyne which meets the sea just to the south of the bathing water."
