Police are searching for a missing pensioner in County Durham after becoming concerned for his welfare.
Officers from Durham Police have issued an urgent appeal about the whereabouts of missing Bishop Auckland man Bernard.
Bernard was last seen at around 8.50am this morning (May 30) on Maude Terrace, Bishop Auckland.
Officers are currently searching the area and have been seen in Bishop Auckland looking around the Maude Terrace area and surrounding streets.

He is in his 80s and is believed to be wearing a grey trilby hat, black and grey top, black trousers, and carrying a blue coat.
Bernard also has links to Bedale.
Anybody who has any information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Durham Police on 101.
