A pedestrian has been taken to hospital with a fractured arm and spinal pain following a collision with an e-bike.
Cleveland Police confirmed they received a report of the incident on Normanby Road in Middlesbrough shortly before 6pm on Friday (May 24).
The 29-year-old rider of a Suron E-bike suffered minor injuries and a 65-year-old male pedestrian suffered a fractured arm and pain to his back and spine.
Both were taken to hospital.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: “Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a collision in Middlesbrough involving an electric bike and a pedestrian.

“The incident happened around 5:55pm on Friday 24th May on Normanby Road.
“Both were taken to James Cook University Hospital for treatment.
“Anyone who may have footage of the incident or any witnesses are asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 096838.”
