An airline has added an extra flight route to a winter destination that is only two hours away from the North East and promises to be great for skiers and snowboarders.
Less than a week after putting Winter 25/26 Sun on sale, Jet2.com has revealed details of its ski programme from Newcastle International Airport, offering customers a choice of flights to ski destinations in Europe.
Next winter, Jet2 will operate flights to Geneva and Grenoble, which includes the addition of a new second Saturday service to Geneva.
With the airline experiencing strong demand from customers wanting to secure their place on the slopes, Jet2.com has responded by putting its ski programme on sale.
This means skiers and snowboarders can unlock the slopes in the French and Swiss Alps in advance.
The selection of ski services from Jet2.com is available from December 2025 and will operate throughout the winter season.
The full Ski programme from Jet2.com for Winter 25/26 from Newcastle International Airport is as follows:

- Grenoble – weekly Saturday services to Grenoble, offer the perfect gateway to the French Alps, with over 175 incredible ski resorts nearby, including Morzine, Chamonix, Chamrousse, Les Deux Alpes, Alpe d’Huez and Avoriaz.
