Three men have been arrested after a man was found injured on a North East last night.

Cleveland Police confirmed they received a report of a man, aged in his twenties, being found with injuries on Griffiths Road in Grangetown, Middlesbrough, at around 9:50pm yesterday (May 28).

He is currently receiving treatment in hospital for the injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

Three men, aged 42, 44, and 52, were arrested in connection with the incident, and remain in police custody.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: “Around 9:50pm yesterday evening, Tuesday 28 May, police received a report that a male had been located on Griffiths Road in Grangetown with injuries.

“A man aged in his twenties is receiving medical treatment in hospital for his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.

“Three males aged 42, 44 and 52 have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in police custody at this time.

“Cleveland Police officers remain at the scene and are providing a highly visible presence whilst enquiries take place and to offer reassurance to local residents.
