Darlington Building Society has been named as the Best Building Society by consumers at this year’s British Bank Awards. And if that wasn’t enough of a reason to celebrate, the Society also won the award for Best Building Society Savings Provider on the night.
The tenth annual British Bank Awards was held in London with almost 400 contemporaries from across the financial services sector in attendance to support one of the biggest nights of the year.
The prestigious accolades are determined entirely by customer feedback on independent review site, Smart Money People, who conduct the awards.
Darlington Building Society ‘broke out the bubbles’ with members and the local community just last week, to celebrate being named Building Society of the Year at the 2024 MoneyAge Mortgage Awards.
This latest award win means that the 19th largest UK building society is officially the best in the business – according to both the industry and consumers.
