A busy North East road will be closed for two weeks while it undergoes resurfacing work.
Stockton Borough Council has confirmed a section of The Glebe in Norton, Stockton will be closed from Tuesday (May 28) to allow for resurfacing and traffic-calming works.
They added that a temporary road closure will be in place for a week, followed by a lane closure the week after.
Diversions will be in place and signposted while the work is carried out.
A council spokesperson said: “A section of The Glebe in Norton will be closed from Tuesday (May 28) to allow resurfacing and traffic-calming works to be completed.

“A temporary road closure will be in place for a week, followed by a lane closure the following week.
“Signed diversion routes will be in place throughout and access to properties will also be maintained.
“Sorry for any inconvenience.”
