Residents in a village near Yarm are reporting that they have been completely cut off from water after a crucial pipe has burst.
Appleton Wiske might not be the only village affected by the faulty pipe at Great Smeaton.
Villagers on social media have been discussing how last time they were cut off it took 24 hours for a fix to be put in place.
One even described the burst pipe as "a big one".
We have contacted Yorkshire Water for more information.
