Primark offered a preview of their store at Teesside Park which is set to open TODAY.
The store, which will open on Wednesday (May 22), hosted a sneak peek tour of the location today (May 21) as it prepares to welcome customers.
Staff showed reporters around the new branch highlighting the different products customers will be able to get their hands on when it opens at 10am.
Store manager Eddie Burns, 40, from Whitley Bay, who has worked for Primark for 21 years and started in management in 2006, said: "There's going to be a real party atmosphere, a real buzz around the place.
"We're expecting a queue, tomorrow's going to be a big celebration welcoming customers and celebrating with the staff.
"It's going to be a great day.
"I would say to customers, please just bring the excitement. The anticipation has been clear to see. We're expecting a lot of customers, just come with energy and enjoy the day as much as we will."
He added there will be a live DJ set performed in the store tomorrow to mark the opening.
The store is set across two floors, with customers able to shop the bestselling Primark products across the clothing, kidswear, beauty, lifestyle and home departments.

The opening forms part of Primark’s £100m investment in UK stores this year.
Pictures of the new store show different displays and products all ready for customers to peruse when the doors open tomorrow morning.
Primark confirmed the new store has created over 180 new jobs in the local community.
