A retail giant held a sneak peek tour of their newest store at a North East retail park this morning (May 21).
Primark held the event at their new Teesside Park store at 9am ahead of their opening tomorrow (May 22) at 10am.
This comes just over a month after the retailer revealed the opening date of its new Stockton branch.
Store manager Eddie Burns, 40, from Whitley Bay, who has worked for Primark for 21 years and started in management in 2006, said: "There's going to be a real party atmosphere, a real buzz around the place.
"We're expecting a queue, tomorrow's going to be a big celebration welcoming customers and celebrating with the staff.
"It's going to be a great day.
"I would say to customers, please just bring the excitement. The anticipation has been clear to see. We're expecting a lot of customers, just come with energy and enjoy the day as much as we will."
He added there will be a live DJ set performed in the store tomorrow to mark the opening.
The store is set across two floors, with customers able to shop the bestselling Primark products across the clothing, kidswear, beauty, lifestyle and home departments.
The opening forms part of Primark’s £100m investment in UK stores this year.
