A pub will showcase its major renovation over the Bank Holiday weekend as it re-opens to customers.
The Nags Head in Northallerton is set to unveil its refurbishment work on May 23 following a £134,000 investment from Craft Union Pub Company.
The refurbishment includes a complete redecoration of the interior throughout, which will now feature a new bar, fresh carpets, and upgraded seating.
One of the standout features of the refurbishment is the creation of a dedicated darts area, equipped with a modern dartboard.
The pub’s pool table has also been retained, continuing to offer a variety of different entertainment options for guests.
The outdoor area now has a revamped large beer garden that boasts a stretch tent, making it an all-weather destination. In addition, a brand-new 72" TV will be installed in the garden, perfectly timed for fans to enjoy the upcoming European Championships in style.
Kerry Hitchman, operator of The Nags Head, has been part of the hospitality industry for five years and has been running the pub since February of last year.
She is looking forward to welcoming the community back to the newly refurbished venue.
Kerry said: "I am thrilled to open the doors to our new look Nags Head and can’t wait for the community to experience all the fantastic updates we’ve made.
"The fresh new interiors and our incredible outdoor space, especially with the Euros coming up, make it the perfect time to visit. We have a fantastic line-up of events planned for our big bank holiday launch weekend, and I’m excited to see everyone come together and enjoy the festivities."
The reopening weekend promises plenty of entertainment from May 23 to 27.
