Police are appealing for help in tracing a car that left the scene of a crash in which a cyclist was injured.
Officers are appealing for information and any witnesses following a collision involving a bicycle and a vehicle in Middlesbrough.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "The collision occurred at the junction of Northern Road onto Acklam Road in Middlesbrough at around 9pm on Thursday May 2.
"The cyclist was taken to James Cook University Hospital with injuries to his left hand.
"The driver of the vehicle, believed to be a white Nissan, left the scene and officers are appealing for this person to contact Cleveland Police.

"Officers are urging anyone with information or any relevant dashcam footage to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 081731.
