A North East university has received a "prestigious ranking" as one of the UK’s best by Complete University Guide.
Durham University has been officially listed in 6th place in the top 10, moving up two places in the University League Tables 2025.
On the Complete University Guide website, it says: “New for 2025! Our league tables rank the best universities in the UK, overall and in 74 subject areas. Knowing how best to choose your future university can be tough.

Durham University ranked in UK’s top 10
The University League Tables 2025 by Complete University Guide shows the following results for Durham University:
- Overall score: 89%
- Entry standards: 87%
- Student satisfaction: 77%
- Research quality: 83%
- Graduate prospects: 89%
Durham University currently has 189 undergraduate courses in total, including Computer Science, Economics, Accounting and many more.
